Hon. Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, Ministry of Trade of Sri Lanka met with H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade during his recent visit to Dubai. The meeting took place at the Leadership Pavilion at EXPO 2020 and the two Ministers discussed ways to further enhance trade and economic relations between Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.

Consul General in Dubai participated at a media event with the Dubai TV promoting Sri Lanka tourism, trade, investments and SL participation at EXPO 2020. This was a half an hour program with the main focus on tourism. The programme of the Dubai TV caters to the Arab audience specifically in the GCC region and also available in Australia, Europe, North America and the rest of Asia.
